On September 3, a PCR call was received at PS Kotwali. In the said call, a complaint was lodged about the theft of gold items used in the puja from the ongoing puja festival of Jain community at 15 August Park located near Red Fort. On investigation, it was found that a gold puja kalash weighing one kilogram has been stolen from the stage of the ongoing puja festival. The matter is being investigated. It is expected that the thief will be caught soon.

Investigation revealed that a suspicious person was roaming around the venue wearing a dhoti-kurta for several days.
