The Meteorological Department has predicted rain till September 7 and has advised people to be alert. The risk of flood has increased due to heavy rains in Delhi-NCR and the rise in Yamuna river. Due to waterlogging on the roads in Gurugram, While Delhi Flood a work from home advisory has been issued. 20 km long Mahajam on Delhi-Jaipur Highway
There is a terrible jam on the IFFCO Chowk flyover from Sirhole border to Manesar. Due to continuous three hours of rain in Gurugram, a 20 km long jam has occurred on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. Traffic has been badly affected due to Manesar Rampur Norangpur and Narsinghpur being submerged. The highest rainfall of 85 mm was recorded in Wazirabad area, due to which many areas were waterlogged.
Loha Bridge may be closed this evening
The water level of Yamuna river will reach 206 meters today. The water level till seven in the morning is 205.75 meters. As soon as it reaches more than 206, the movement of vehicles will be stopped on the old Loha Bridge. District Disaster Management Authority Shahdara has ordered the closure of the railway iron bridge from 5 pm on Tuesday.

Delhi flood effected areas, the Red Fort area to the ITO area, Rajghat, Gadhi Mandu village located in Yamuna Khadar, Purana Usmanpur village as well as Yamuna Bazaar and Monastery Market near Kashmiri Gate, Majnu Ka Tila on the Ring Road, Jaitpur Vishwakarma Colony of Badarpur Assembly constituency, ITO area, Rajghat, Kashmiri Gate ISBT, GT Karnal Road and other areas were flooded.
